My window crank on the passenger front became inoperable the other day. Took the door panel off and took a gander.

Did some searching online and found this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Guy was right. I guess those are just smushed in place at the factory.

Ordered myself a 4mm bottom tap since there isn’t much room to make threads.

Got the window up out of the way while I put everything back in.

They are heavy, I have power windows though. I wish I had an all manual car.

I definitely prefer the manual windows. This was all pretty easy and nothing was terribly heavy or awkward to handle.
